Have you bought a new camera and not sure how to get the best from it? Are you unsure what all the controls do or what effect they will have on your photographs?

Our camera familiarisation sessions will help you understand how to get the best from your new equipment. We show you with practical examples how the settings will affect the image you record, and then take you on a tour of the studio and grounds to put the theory to the test.

The course covers:

• How a camera works
• Camera modes, and exposure controls
• The effect the adjusting aperture and shutter speed will have on your image
• Worked exercises

We also offer guided photo sessions, in the studio, on walks around the grounds and local parks & paths, or some of each.
